Mr. Bennet

I am slightly worried, as Mr. Bennet is only marrying off Lydia because he knows that she will not have a tarnished reputation. However, doesn't he know that the entire family will now have a scoundral in the family? How silly of him. And he's supposed to be all smart.

  1. Mr. Wickham is not a scoundrel. He is very kind, and it is best to have our reputation maintained than ruined. Why are you worrying about our family so much anyway? It's not like you care about us at all. Sometimes I don't understand you Miss Bingley

  2. No one should ever worry about my father for he is very strong. Wickham is not a scoundrel. Even though he has made some mistakes in his life and isn't one who is trust worthy. But my father knows what is best for his family.

  3. Mr. Bennet wants what is best for his daughters, so I resent it when you question his motives. For your information, he if he does not do it, his reputation will be tarnished even more than if he does. I doubt he wants to let his youngest daughter marry, but he doesn't have much of a choice. Also, he is the man who raised Miss Elizabeth Bennet, one of the most amazing women whom I have ever met.

  4. I trust my father and for him to know what is best for my family. If he believs a scumbag is better in our family for one daughter then a horrible reputation for all of us, he is a smart man. As for Lydia, she very well deserves some sort of punishment for the actions she has presented our family with and marrying Wickham might as be it.

  5. Caroline this still may be for the best, as the family's rep does matter on the streets. Mr. Bennet is doing the sensible thing and saving his family, just as the man of the house should do. When I grow up I want to be just like him. He is quite the gentleman and stud.

  6. How dare you talk about the man that will one day provide me with all of my fortune. However, I do agree. She is the biggest mistake that the Bennets call a daughter. She does not even consider the feelings or worries of the family, and she has squandered some of my fortune.

  7. Caroline you should not be worried about anything. Lyda is marrying because she wants to not for any other reason. Also, my father is very intelligent. Besides, this situation has nothing to do with you. It would be much appreciated if you kept away. Thanks.

  8. I completely agree that Wickham is a scoundral. However, my father is smarter than your entire family put together. He is obviously just doing whats best for the family. He cares about us, and no matter how much of an ungrateful idiot Lydia is, he will always take care of her.
